After an usually hot and dry summer, fall is in the air. The mornings are crisp and clear. The days are around 60 degrees or so. The leaves along the Bitterroot River are turning a golden yellow. Absolutely beautiful! We have been getting some much needed rain and some snow in the mountains. The snow level is down to about 5000 feet, which is still about 2000 feet above the valley floor. The mountains will get as much as 300 inches of snow in the winter, but the valley floor rarely gets more than several inches at one time. This is in my opinion the most beautiful time of year in one of the most beautiful places on earth. And to make things even better, the Grizzlies are 3 & 0!! Go Griz!!!
